Nikhil Chawla is the Founding Partner at NCA and the Head of Litigation Practice. Nikhil specializes in consulting clients in the area of intellectual property, commercial and technology law, including on issues arising out of emerging tech. His practice focusses on IP litigation, IP licensing, IP prosecution, IP transactions, brand development, prosecution, protection of trademarks, copyright, patent prosecution, data privacy and transactional law. He also advises clients on matters relating to acquisition and retention of intellectual property rights including licensing negotiations and litigates disputes related to such rights.

Mr. Nikhil Chawla is member of Bar Council in India and New York. He manages patent litigations for various pharmaceutical and hi-tech companies, including successfully representing tech companies in Standard Essential Patent matters. He advises multi brand retail giants in matters concerning brand protection commercial campaigns, corporate transactional including negotiations, licensing, and enforcement of IP rights all over the world.  He also advises major players in media/entertainment industry including music composers and lyricists regarding various copyright infringement and prosecution issues including contractual negotiations.
